University of Tartu and Estonian Folk Culture Centre will sign Cooperation Agreement. Public discussion “Folk Culture and National Sciences in Contemporary Society” 26.11

Vice-Rector for Research of the University of Tartu Marco Kirm and Director of the Estonian Folk Culture Centre Aivi Lintnermann will sign the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Tartu and Estonian Folk Culture Centre in Philosophicum (Jakobi 2-114, Tartu) on Thursday 26th November 2015 at 11am.

The signing of the agreement will be followed by a public discussion on the topic “Folk Culture and National Sciences in Contemporary Society”. Discussion will focus on folk culture - the changes it has undergone as a phenomenon and as a term, and the national sciences researching it. The event is held in Estonian.
